HKP Hosts Career Planning Seminar on Artificial Intelligence
On October 18, HKP held a career planning seminar themed "Exploring Artificial Intelligence." The guest speaker was Dr. Liu Wenjian, Associate Dean of Faculty of Data Science at the City University of Macau, who provided an engaging introduction to AI for students and staff. With the rapid advancement of technology, artificial intelligence is significantly transforming daily life and work. The seminar aimed to help students understand AI's development trends, clarify their career plans, and spark interest in future technological fields.
During the seminar, Dr. Liu engaged students by discussing key topics such as the definition of AI, intelligent behavior, and its current and future applications across various fields. He highlighted the unprecedented opportunities and challenges posed by AI, encouraging high school students to explore this dynamic field to better prepare for their future careers. The interactive session fostered a lively atmosphere as students actively asked questions and participated in discussions with Dr. Liu. This seminar not only deepened their understanding of artificial intelligence but also guided their career planning.
In today's rapidly evolving world, students are expected to broaden their knowledge and skills, particularly in innovative thinking and problem-solving, to address future societal needs. It is hoped that they will gain insights into social development trends, enhance their capabilities, and contribute meaningfully to technological advancement and societal progress.
