September 18th, 2023, marks the 92nd anniversary of the September 18th Incident (Mukden Incident). On 19th September, secondary school teachers and students gathered in the school hall to commemorate the incident, and to carry forward the patriotic spirit and educate teachers and students to remember our history.
History teachers and students prepared videos and dramas to let us learn about the truth of the historical event. We jointly recalled those difficult and overwhelming times and felt the fearlessness of the heroes who sacrificed themselves for our nation. The solemnity of the audience and the heaviness of history accumulated in the bottom of everyone's heart paid our highest respect to the countless heroes and martyrs.
Our school has always attached great importance to patriotism education and emphasized on cultivating students' sense of nationalism. Through the commemorative activity, teachers and students were able to remember the tragedy of history and cherish the peaceful life that their predecessors exchanged with their blood and lives. They were encouraged to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the Chinese nation's unyielding strength, to shoulder the responsibility of the times in order to build the future of our motherland together with their talents.
