K2 Parent-Child Dumpling Making Activity

To celebrate the upcoming Year of the Snake, the K2 classes hosted a parent-child dumpling-making event on January 15, 2025. Over 300 parents and children gathered on campus, filling the air with the aroma of dumplings and joyful laughter, while passing down the traditions of Chinese culture.

During the activity, children learned to fold and shape dumplings under the guidance of their parents, creating dumplings of all shapes and sizes. A variety of fillings were prepared, including pork with seaweed and sesame, pork with corn, and pork with mushrooms and wood ear fungus. As they worked, the children also learned about the ingredients used. The event was filled with the sounds of traditional New Year music, and the sight of children carefully shaping dumpling wrappers and sharing heartwarming moments with their parents added to the festive atmosphere.

This event not only allowed children to experience the wisdom of traditional culinary culture but also strengthened the bond between families, the school, and the parent-child relationship. Plates of steaming hot dumplings symbolized hopes for the new year and brought a sense of warmth and togetherness to the campus.
