In December 2018, the Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School organized K2 children to visit the Fire Services Museum and the Fire Services Central Operations Centre.
With the help of teachers and the assistance of volunteer parents, a total of 189 people came to the Fire Services Museum. Children wore fire-fighting clothing, put on fire helmets, and felt the fun of being a small firefighter. The firefighters introduced the various fire-fighting tools, fire-fighting methods and escape methods to the children. The children were both excited and curious, especially when they saw the firefighter slipping down from the high poles. Finally, everyone took a group photo with the fire truck and firefighters.
During the visit, the children benefited a lot. They not only saw the firefighters' usual working environment, but also broadened their horizons and enriched their knowledge and experience in fire protection.
