Through the health education theme activities, the K3 group let the children understand the health food pyramid and know that good health requires good diet, exercise and work habits. In order to let the children understand the benefits of eating vegetables and to be willing to eat more vegetables, the teachers organized an activity to cook vegetable soup.
On the day of cooking the vegetable soup in each class, the children happily brought a variety of vegetables. Parents also work together to prepare a variety of vegetables for the children. In order to increase the deliciousness of vegetable soup, some classes also prepared seasoning ingredients such as ginger and dates for the children. The hallway is always full of delicious smell on these cooking soup days.
The children all drank the delicious vegetable soup and realized that “not picky eaters” is a healthy lifestyle. They experienced the joy of success, and also learned to cooperate and share from the activities.
