Our Students were Awarded the Title of "Star of Literature"

After the intense preliminary and semi-final rounds, eleven students from Macao entered the national finals of the China Secondary School Essay Contest (Literary Stars) with more than 20 million students participating annually. Eight students (six from Hou Kong Middle School and two from Hou Kong Premier) were selected. Every year, ten Chinese Language Stars and ten Nominated Chinese Language Stars are selected from junior and high school students respectively, among more than 20 million participants (a chance of 1 in a million) from all over China, including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. 

Our junior school student, Kuang Yong Yi, won the "Star of Literature" in the junior high school group; Huang Yi Ping won the nomination award for the Star of Literature; Zhang Kai Ying, Deng Shan Zhi (HKP) and Xiong Ying Jie (HKP) from junior school, along with Wang Ruo Qing, Luo Wei, Zhou Ya Qi from high school won the first prize.
