On 19th March, Principal Chen Hong, vice principal of Hou Kong Middle School and a deputy to the National People's Congress of Macao, introduced the significance of the "Two Sessions" to teachers and students with the theme of "Dreaming of Modernisation, Painting a New Landscape" at the assembly of HKP Primary and Secondary Schools. She shared her experience and feelings about her participation in the "Two Sessions" this year. Her sharing provided all teachers and students with a vivid and profound patriotism education.

Principal Chen firstly introduced the main agenda of the "Two Sessions", conveyed to teachers and students the spirit of the "Government's Work Report" and the main expected goals of this year's development, and read out the key words of this year's "Two Sessions": boosting confidence, new-quality productivity, and high-quality development.

She encouraged teachers and students to learn more about the national conditions and policies, to study, understand and put into practice the spirit of the "Two Sessions", to grasp the opportunities of the national development, and to actively participate in the construction of the Greater Bay Area and the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin, and to promote the integration of Macao into the overall development of our country, so that they can make more contributions to the development of the country and the Macao SAR.

The "Spirit of the Two Conferences" sharing session was held in a warm atmosphere. Teachers and students listened attentively and interacted actively. Principal Chen always cares about the students, and this year he specially brought back the first day cover of the "Two Sessions" from Beijing as gifts for students. During the interactive session, students who won the prizes were very happy and proud that they could experience the atmosphere of the "Two Sessions" from a close distance through the Principal's sharing, and that they could obtain more and more in-depth information, as well as such a precious gift.

Teachers and students said that the sharing was concise and profound, and through the explanation of Principal Chen, they had a more in-depth understanding of the spirit of the "Two Sessions", the achievements of the country and the direction of future development. HKP will continue to work hard and actively equip students in order to prepare them for the development of the country.
