Kindergarten Celebration Activities for Mid-Autumn Festival

On September 17, our school’s kindergarten held the annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. The children all brought lanterns and food back to school to share with their teachers and classmates.

The children couldn't wait to show off their lanterns with their teachers and friends when they entered the kindergarten. There were traditional paper lanterns, and lanterns in the shapes of jade rabbits, princesses, superheroes, etc. The teacher took this opportunity to let the children introduce their lanterns to the group, cultivating the children's self-confidence and their expression ability. On the day of the event, each class conducted various Mid-Autumn Festival activities, such as listening to the story of the Mid-Autumn Festival; introducing the origin and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival; guessing lantern riddles; playing with lanterns; sharing moon cakes and festival fruits, etc. During the Mid-Autumn Festival series of activities, the children happily immersed themselves in the influence of traditional culture and deepened their understanding of traditional Chinese festivals.
