Children's Picture Book Ballet Hits The International Stage

On 28th July, a total of 30 students from K1, K2, and K3 of our kindergarten participated in the second Macau International Creative Dance Festival, organized by the Macau Modern Ballet Association and supported by the Macau Government Tourism Office, the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Cultural Development Fund, and the Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone Hong Kong and Macao Office. Our school was invited to participate in a special performance, and the children's picture book ballet "Shh" received unanimous praise.

This ballet is adapted from our school's excellent picture book play, depicting a heart-warming story of a group of small animals playing games quietly so as not to disturb others that are sleeping. On the day of the event, the children wore performance costumes of the small animals from the picture book, and used elegant ballet movements to vividly express the characters in the story, including rabbits, birds, squirrels, piglets, and elephants. The audience was impressed by their confident and agile performances.

Our school has always placed great importance on cultivating children's artistic literacy and aesthetic experience, providing as many platforms as possible for children to showcase themselves. We believe that this performance on a professional stage will be an unforgettable experience for them.
